It has been over two years since I last posted on here. TWO. YEARS! Where has the time gone??

Since you last heard from me I’ve done a whole bunch. My little girl who was only a few months old when I last wrote (that’s right, I’m blaming her) can now walk, talk, sing, dance and gives me all the attitude you’d expect from a toddler. (Are they still toddlers of they aren’t toddling anymore?) She’s amazing and I can’t get enough of her!

I’ve been a stay-at-home dad for a while too. Not 100% full-time as I was also working in clinic two days a week for my final year, but I have been blessed with the opportunity to have all that time with her – and I grasped it with both hands. Loved every second of it.

I have also completed my final year of chiropractic school. Welcome to the new and improved Dr. Tom Roselle DC MChiro BA (Hons). That’s an awful lot of letters after my name now! But you can always rely on my nanna to bring me back down to Earth when she goes “Well, I’m not bowing to you.”

With my newly qualified healing hands, I have turned Calm Body from a sports massage clinic into Calm Body Chiropractic. I have just been working on that side of things, getting it up and running, which is wildly more expensive than I ever thought it would be, and turning it into something I can do full-time. I have also started working with the lovely folk over at Kenworthy Chiropractic in Preston. It’s a long train ride for me, but worth every second of it to get the new experiences, have the wonderful Johanna look after me over there and see how a successful clinic does it, a peek into what goes on behind the scenes.

And finally, we also moved house! We were lucky enough to be able to upscale our home and moved to somewhere a bit more comfortable, which circles nicely to why I am writing again. As I sit here and write this, there are 17,089 people infected with Covid-19 in the UK, with a total of 1,019 deaths here. Horrifying numbers. We,as a country, are on a sort of lockdown, and I am so glad we moved house as we can make use of our garden and the extra space. If we were in the old house I think by now I would have lost my mind being so cooped up.

So I have decided to start writing again. I have some old ideas that I never got around to writing about last time and I hope with all this extra time to sit, think and write I will come up with some new ideas too. I might expand on how my final year of uni was, go into depth on that and the positives and negatives there.Or I might not! One thing I will definitely be steering away from is chiropractic and the immune system – especially at this current time. My main aims are to keep myself entertained and hopefully a few other people too. If you’re reading this – thank you.

See you after we get released!

PS – can you believe we got grounded by the government?!
